Brazilian Director and Cinematographer, Nicolas Viggiani has over a decade of international experience, having worked across Europe, the United Kingdom, the United States, and South America. With a versatile style, he has shot narrative projects, short fiction films and documentaries, web series, commercials, branded content, corporates, fashion films, and music videos.

Graduated in Film from PUC-Rio in 2007 and MFA in Cinematography from the Viewfinder MA program in 2020, he was awarded a full scholarship and graduated with honors after two years studies abroad between Ireland (IADT), Hungary (SZFE), and Estonia (BFM). His final project, “Vaata, mis sa tegid,” in collaboration with Colombian director Carlos E. Lesmes, premiered at the prestigious PÖFF – Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival.

In 2021, he was selected by the American Society of Cinematographers for the ASC Vision Mentorship program, where he was mentored by Michael Goi (ASC, ISC). The following year, he became an associate member of ABC – Brazilian Society of Cinematographers.

Throughout his career, he has lensed campaigns for brands such as Hennessy, LVMH, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Coty, Fox Sports, FGV, Globo, Jornal Extra, Cantão, Live!, Órama, ECAD, Leite de Rosas, Balbiino, Chicago Bulls, ArtRio, Botafogo, Vbet, and Sodexo, among others. During a brief period at TV Globo, he shot exclusive web series for Gshow, such as “Causos do Zé Coveiro,” “Os Desatinados,” and “Deborah Apresenta,” as well as collaborating on other network projects.
